Some Agile methods are simple enough to define but much harder to execute, and DevOps is one of them. The term DevOps comes from development and operations. The function of DevOps is to reconcile the work of the developers with the operational functions of a project.
Almost every software development project starts out with a big vision and a transformative goal. And of course a strict timeline. But somewhere down the line, the vision blurs around the edges, the right resources are just not available, and the project runs into technical snags.
